Everyone who ordered this box received:

For those who ordered it the additional skein of yarn was Harley Quinn V Poison Ivy.

Mel is the owner and talent of The Yarn Tree, I just blog for her occasionally and act as a sounding board.For her the sock blanks included in this box have been a huge step outside of her comfort zone and a massive labour of love and I think our customers agree that they turned out brilliantly. Here they are drying in some of the very rare English sunshine…

One of our customers is a pure crocheter so Mel created a special sock blank for them and it was pretty huge. While the blanks for the knitters had room for one logo the crochet blank managed to fit six of them!

How to use a sock blank:

Socks can be knit two at a time directly from the blank, simply cast on with a separate strand for each sock and start knitting, it really is that easy! Alternatively, you can roll into a double strand centre-pull ball (though these are prone to tangle)

Because of the the way the blank is knitted, painted and unravelled, the final socks will be completely different to the original blank.
