Mel has been super busy over the last month working on some fabulous new yarn boxes that have now found their way to their new owners and are ready to be shared here on the blog!
First up we have “Pacman is 35” Retro Gamers box. Each person who placed an order received:
- 100g skein of “Space Invaders” on superwash/merino/bamboo sock yarn
- 100g skein of “Tetris” on superwash double knit
- A Space Invaders badge
- A Mario pen (his hat lifts off to reveal a mini stamp!)
- Super tasty Pacman and Ghost biscuits which were handmade by Clare
- Sonic the Hedgehog fridge magnets
- A space invaders necklace handmade by Wychwood Dreams
Next up were two spooky boxes which were just perfect for October. The Halloween Box and the Buffy is 18 box.
In the Halloween box each person received:
- A 100g skein of “The Witch, The Pumkin and The Graveyard” on gold sparkle sock yarn
- A Halloween themed mini notepad and a bloody syringe pen
- A fabulous kilt/shawl pin by the wonderful Wychwood Dreams
- A sheet full of Halloween stickers
- A chocolate bar
- Some temporary tattoos
For those who ordered it the additional skein was “The Haunted House on the Hill”.
The Buffy is 18 (18! Can you believe it? I really am feeling old) box contained:
- A 100g skein of “Spikes Shirt” on a merino/bamboo base
- A 100g skein of “Buffy and Willow” on a double strand merino/nylon base
- An I ❤ Buffy Badge
- A rather cleverly designed Vampire Bite necklace by Wychwood Dreams
- A hand painted shot glass by the talented Boo It’s Sparkly
Our final box which was just dispatched and seems to have been extremely well received was Banish the Winter Blues. Given the turn in the weather lately it was the perfect time to receive this scrummy box in the post. Every box contained:
- 100g skein of “Cold and Frosty Morning” on a silver sparkle base – this yarn and the colourway are just perfect for creating snuggle cowls and shawls for the winter months
- A gorgeous hand painted mug from Boo It’s Sparkly
- A cone of hot chocolate and marshmallows containing enough for 3-4 servings to enjoy during the chilly winter evenings
- Some handmade biscuits to enjoy with your drink from Clare’s Cakes and More
For those who ordered it the additional skein of yarn was “Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows” on superwash double knit.
Our next box that you still have time to order is NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS – I’m so excited for this one – but I recommend you hurry because spaces are limited and filling up fast
